Whey Powder
Sweet whey is a liquid by-product of cheese production. It contains lactose, protein and minerals and can be processed to extract the minerals using electro-dialysis. The concentrated demineralized whey is then spray dried into a powder. While we currently supply one type of demineralized whey powder, different levels of demineralization can be requested.
Milk Powders
Beyond standing in for milk, milk powder can find its way into just about anything you want to make creamier, like oatmeal and other porridges, soups, gravies, smoothies, milkshakes, or puddings
Palm Shortening
Palm shortening is palm oil with some of the unsaturated fats removed so that it is even more stable and has a thick, luxurious texture. It has a neutral flavour, higher melting point and ideal for bakery, frying and even vegan applications.
Sweetener Blends
Various artificial sweeteners blended as an alternative to sugar. Different strengths are available on request
Sodium Diacetate
Sodium diacetate is a fungicide and bactericide registered to control molds and bacteria, and thus prevent spoilage, in stored grains. The pesticide is applied to hay as a dust or soluble concentrate (liquid spray)
Yogurt Stabiliser
The primary purpose of adding stabilizers in yoghurt is to improve consistency and build viscosity, which helps to minimize whey separation and bind free water.
MSG
Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is used commercially in broths, soups, canned and spice blends, gravies, meats, frozen vegetables, flavouring poultry, and sauces and in other combinations.
